Elaborate bronze mounted tortoise-shell case, plated and relief pattern brass front signed MICHAEL ALESSI FECIT, plated dial with hours, minutes, central alarm and iron hands. Verge echapement with hour striking on bell, thread suspension, alarm and 1-day going. Later gobelin lined sides. Minor restorations and additions. Running not checked.
